Social Responsibility
As a member of the national team of the pharmaceutical industry, China's medical insurance has always adhered to a high sense of honor and mission, unswervingly fulfilled the social responsibility of the central enterprises, and made due contributions to the national prevention and control of major public health emergencies, disaster relief, humanitarian relief and other work.
In August 2007, the mission of the Chinese Government's humanitarian aid project in Darfur, Sudan, was successfully completed.
In 2008, after the Wenchuan earthquake, the company donated emergency materials worth more than 10 million yuan to earthquake-stricken areas twice, and sent engineers and technicians to the disaster areas to install and debug medical equipment.
In 2009, as the main storage unit of influenza A H1NI prevention and control drugs, Chinese medicine dispatched 134 batches of influenza prevention and control drugs to 29 provinces, cities and autonomous regions, including Jiangsu, Shandong and Heilongjiang, totaling 3.9 million people.
Since 2010, the company has undertaken more than 30 Chinese government assistance projects covering Asia, Africa, Europe, Oceania and the Americas, and has made due contributions to improving medical conditions in backward areas through practical actions.
In October 2014, the company provided protection and treatment materials against Ebola to Mali, Ghana, Benin, Guinea-Bissau, Ivory Coast, Congo (DRC) and other six African countries.
In September 2016, the company donated free earthquake relief materials to the Ministry of Health of Ecuador.
In 2017, the company successfully implemented the Emergency Humanitarian Material Assistance Project in Madagascar, providing a strong material guarantee for Madagascar to respond to the epidemic.
In 2016-2018, the company implemented a medical equipment project to assist Bangladesh, providing medical equipment for many hospitals in Bangladesh, which is conducive to improving their diagnostic and therapeutic capabilities.
